東御市立田中保育園　/　Tomi city municipal Tanaka nursery

長野県の東部、上田市、小諸市に隣接する東御市における市立保育園です。滝設計との共同による指名プロポーザルでの最優秀賞選定を経て建築となりました。敷地のある場所はしなの鉄道田中駅の南口から程ない場所にあり、四周に開け、遠望に浅間山をはじめとした連なる山々が眺望できるロケーションです。そのような敷地において、敷地を最大限利用した木造平屋の建築、送迎用の駐車スペース、自然との触れ合いを重視した芝生の園庭が慎重に配置計画されました。園舎は長野県産材の木を多様したぬくもりのある内外部の空間の設えとし、外観は周囲に山野に呼応する伸びやかな曲面の大屋根を建築の象徴としています。

This is Tanaka municipal nursery in Tomi City , Nagano Prefecture . It was built by the First Prize selection in the nomination proposal . Site can view mountains continuing that , including the Mount Asama in distant view location . Architecture is a nestled inside and outside with a variety the warmth of the wood of Nagano Prefecture material . Appearance has been a symbol of building the large roof of curved surface to be in response to the mountains around .
