“People gather, people meet, people join”

There are buildings built fifty years ago to leave the Showa era, which seems to blend naturally into the cityscape of Wakaba Town, Naka-ku, Yokohama. This architecture was the home of a financial institution for themselves that the shopping mall of the town launched together. After finishing its role and conveying the history of the town, we are trying to regenerate the “WHARF” where trans-border gathers and to open the curtain of a new story. It is a renovation project to a theater with a studio and a guest house planned by Makoto Sato, director of Koenji Koenji.
