空の色と光ををつかむ

敷地は北側と西側の２面で接道した角地で、南側にも私道が走ります。周囲には戸建て住宅や賃貸住宅が寄り添うように建ち並んでいます。クライアントは元々この場所に永く住んでおられ、ご本人や近隣に住むご両親の将来を考え、新しい家はバリアフリーにすることを希望されました。

そこで、内部にはガラス張りのEVを設けそのまわりをぐるりと階段がまわるように配置し、光が上から下に降り注ぐような空間をつくりました。

リビングには上部に複数のトップライトとハイサイドライトが設けられ、一日中光が存分に差し込ます。季節や時間、天気によりその日の空色は一日も同じ日がありません。

都心でありながら、プライバシーを守りつつ、どこか「非日常」の特別な場所をつくることで日々の変化を楽しみながら１日中過ごせる空間としています。

The site faces three roads. Surrounding it are rows of detached houses and rental properties. The client had lived here for many years and, considering their own future and that of their parents living nearby, wished for a barrier-free home. Therefore, we installed a glass-enclosed elevator inside and arranged stairs spiraling around it, creating a space where light pours down from above. The living room features multiple skylights and high side windows at the top, allowing abundant sunlight to stream in. The sky’s hue changes with the season, time of day, and weather, ensuring no two days are ever the same.
