アメリカの人気TVシリーズ “NBC World of Dance”で世界が注目するダンスコンペティション “World of Dance”の東京スタジオです。吉祥寺駅前のテナントビルの１フロアを用途変更申請を伴った改修をおこないました。空間は、演舞の「地」になるようなモノトーンを基調とした設えとし、折り上げ天井による間接照明や、木仕上げの壁や家具により空間にアクセントを与えています。３つのスタジオとそれを取り巻くような共用部から構成され、共有部はブラックをベースにした空間、スタジオや滞在スペースはホワイトをベースにした空間としています。

This is the Tokyo studio of “World of Dance”, a dance competition that has attracted worldwide attention through the popular American TV series “NBC World of Dance”. We renovated one floor of a tenant building in front of Kichijoji Station.

The space is set up in a monotone color scheme to serve as a “ground” for the performance, and the space is accentuated by indirect lighting from the folded ceiling and wood-finished walls and furniture.

It consists of three studios and a common area surrounding them, with the common area in black and the studios and rest spaces in white.
